Condolence messages
Sandy so kindly spoke for me at our wedding, taking great delight in revealing to Nigel’s horror that I had been head girl at school (as indeed Diana had been)! We loved his deadpan humour and twinkling smile. So glad to have visited last year. He and Diana were such great friends of my parents and both so faithful in looking out for my parents in their later years.

Dear Mrs Gray and Family
I have only just found out that Mr Gray sadly passed away in November.
He was always very special to me and I always enjoyed our chats when he came into the garage.
I shall always remember him as a gentleman and a very nice man.

Fond memories of a very interesting friend. I remember him for being involved in all Community activities, especially the Souldern Car boots, reading the names of the Fallen at Church Remembrance Services, Flying the flag on special occasions, and in particular for typing unusual letters for him! The most interesting was one to the National Trust about Beatrix Potter Farm and land. RIP Sandy. Ann
