1934 - 2021
On 9th March 2021, peacefully in the John Radcliffe Hospital, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Maureen. Loving dad to Ian and Marie, Julie and Steve, a much loved grandad to Emma, Jack, Thomas, Sam and James and great grandad to Remy.
Private Cremation.

Archie helped my three now grown up children with their tennis in the 90’s. What a generous, kind and gracious man. He never seemed to age.
He is already sadly missed.

Archie had been contacting regularly through lockdown, renewing a friendship of over 50 years. I knew of him at school but got to know him properly as a result of his work as treasurer of 6th Banbury Scouts. When I joined Alcan I got know him better. And when he retired I audited the accounts of church for him, which resulted in me getting produce from the allotment. I am so sorry to hear of his death and my thoughts are with the family.
