Passed away peacefully at the Horton General Hospital on 28th October 2020, aged 79 years. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Maud was such a lady. Always positive and spoke so highly and lovingly of her family. My sincere condolences to her husband, her children and step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know she will be sorely missed by all of you. She’s resting peacefully until you are all reunited again. Much love and strength.

Maud was such a special and kind person, she had a wicked sense of humour and was always so lovely, I don’t think I ever heard her say a bad word about anyone. My children will always remember her as GoGo,
and it was so special to have her in our lives. I spent a lot of time with her in her in the weeks before she left us, before she went into hospital, I will always cherish those memories because although she was so very ill, she made us laugh so much. Grandpa I am so sorry for your loss, I know how hard this is for you as she was your everything, we will be here for you always. To her family in Africa, I cant imagine how sad today will be, I will be thinking of you all.
